Bass Fishing Guided Trips

South Dakota Outfitters Unlimited Bass fishing trips can be custom designed to fulfill your desires.  If you are looking for a fight, Lake Francis Case above the Fort Randall Dam is known to be one of the best areas for producing trophy Small Mouth Bass fishing in the central United States.

It is not uncommon to have a 50+ day from early March to June.

South Dakota Outfitters Unlimited was featured on the Outdoorsmen Adventures TV series which airs across the Midwest. If you want Small Mouth action, fish with MVGS. For more information and air times go to

We do 100% catch and release on our Small Mouth Bass trips, generally averaging 35 - 70 fish per day in the boat.
Small mouth bass fishing in South Dakota A South Dakota fishing license is required.  Visit the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks website for free fishing weekends and other special events.

We fish woods and shallows in the early spring using spinners, crank bait, and plastic grubs.  It is not uncommon to get some large 4 lb. Small Mouth during the spawning season, and 3 pounders are plentiful.  In June, we start fishing the weed beds and other structures using plastic worms, jigs, and crank bait.

Fishing in South Dakota is the perfect getaway, and were not as far away as you might think.  There are docking facilities less then one hour from the Kimball Exit on I-90.
